Pictured here is our Bamboo Clutch. It's a rather neutral color compared to most tropical and boho fashion, so it can match perfectly with virtually anything.

Luxe and Caicos Spring 2015 MoodBoard
Luxe and Caicos' debut collection is coming! While we're getting all the technicalities set up, we thought we'd tease you a bit with this mood board chock full of sneak peeks.
Luxe and Caicos Spring 2015 is a collection of accessible tropical and bohemian accessories. In other words, it's made for the people who wish they were at a beach, but aren't - the people like us. It's an easy way to add some boho chic to your daily wardrobe, whether it be a tasseled scarf with your office outfit, or a woven bamboo clutch to help with your daily errands.
Luxe and Caicos is a lifestyle: you live in it. It's not a dream or a goal, but a way to live your dreams in the present. Because why wait for something you can have now? (Or at least when we launch in the spring!)

Bringing spring into your home....
One of the fastest ways to add a touch of spring is with a nice bunch of bright flowers. These may vary depending on where you live but even some evergreen sprigs will brighten up a room. Early flowering buds, captured by habitually chic are particularly nice since they are such a symbolic promise of things to come.
Rugs, pillows and throws in bright colors add a cozy and lively element to any room during the winter. Pieces with rich texture, embroidery or embellishments are always cheerful. How cozy is this bed??
Candles in tropical scents, such as coconut, can almost fool the mind into thinking that it's summertime. An added benefit is the rich glow from candlelight that flatters everyone's complexion during winter.
Adding a bright print to a wall is a quick way to bring color into any space; even the addition of a small framed print to a desktop can do the trick.
Think spring ..... we're about to have a few days of really cold weather in the Northeast!

Getting into a springtime state of mind.....
I know, winter has only just begun, but for us in the Luxe and Caicos studio, it's never too early to start thinking about spring. The days are already getting longer. Here are a few easy ways to add some spring to your winter days:
Add a birdfeeder to your garden, windowsill, porch, or whatever outdoor space you have access to - this not only provides food for the birds when the trees are bare and the ground is covered, but also attracts beautiful visitors. There is nothing that says spring is in the air more than birdsong.
Change out your playlist to include some tropical music. There are some songs that you can't help but feel like you're on spring break when you hear them - here are a few that work for us in the Luxe and Caicos studio every time:
One Love - Bob Marley
Kokomo - The Beach Boys
It's 5 o'clock somewhere - Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett
Day-O - Harry Belafonte
Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffett
We would love to hear from you if there are any songs that get you into a spring break state of mind.
Add a pop of color to your wardrobe - whether it's a bright scarf or sweater, a vibrant color will not only cheer you up but also every one that you meet.
Next time, we'll add some more spring-inducing strategies - perhaps for the home.
